BIO

Known as a true crossover performer, Natalie Ballenger has been seen on stages around the world in genres from Opera to Musical Theatre to Shakespeare & TV/Film/Voiceover. Natalie recently travelled the world in the Centennial World Tour of West Side Story as Maria, and with the International Tour of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast!

Natalie made her New York City Opera Debut in the double bill of Rachmaninoff's Aleko and Leoncavallo's Pagliacci at Lincoln Center. Natalie was previously seen at David Geffen Hall at Lincoln Center as a Soloist with the National Chorale under the baton of Dr. Everett McCorvey. Throughout New York City, Natalie has been seen performing as a Soloist at venues such as Lincoln Center, 54 Below, Metropolitan Room, Symphony Space, LOONY, and VHRP Live.

Other theatrical highlights include: My Fair Lady (Eliza Doolittle), Guys and Dolls (Sarah Brown), Lady Be Good (SusieTrevor), Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol (The Actors Fund), The Duchess of Gerolstein (Wanda), The Fantasticks (Luisa), Dialogues of the Carmelites (Blanche), HMS Pinafore (Josephine), Richard Trabner Memorial Concert, and the Loren L. Zachary Viennese Luncheon. Natalie was awarded Third Place at the 2014 Lotte Lenya International Voice Competition after being previously awarded the Lys Symonette Award in 2012.

Natalie is featured on numerous recordings with Albany Records, Operetta Archives, and Musicals Lost and Found including: The Only Girl (Patsy), Orange Blossoms (Kitty), HMS Pinafore (Josephine), Miss Springtime (Lori), Melody (Andree/Paula), Windy City (Pasty), and Dryad's Kiss (Chenette). Other Voiceover credits include: IHeart Radio (Various Commercial Copy), Ed Lover Show (Hip Hop era Segment), and the upcoming 8th Light Podcast. A native of Santa Cruz, CA, Natalie currently resides in NYC.
