Mia Pinero is a New York City based performer, who is currently understudying Maria in Ivo Van Hove’s Broadway revival of West Side Story. Her regional credits include My Fair Lady at PlayMakers Repertory Company, In The Heights at Geva Theatre Center, West Side Story at the Guthrie Theater, OKLAHOMA! at the Weston Playhouse.
A graduate from Montclair State University’s BFA Musical Theatre program, Mia has always valued continual growth and training, and feels it is vital to the success of any artist. She has coached in person and online, as well as hosted master classes. She takes focuses on nuance and specificity, which expresses each individuals unique voice and perspective, leading to confidence, stage presence, and greater connection to the work.
