BIO

Garrett Clayton is best known for his leading role in the hit Disney Channel movies "Teen Beach Movie" and "Teen Beach Movie 2.” Clayton will can also be seen in the indie film "Peel" opposite Emile Hirsch, in "Between Worlds" opposite Nicholas Cage, and in "Reach. Garrett leads this important film "Reach" that is a look at depression in young people. Previously, Garrett played Link in NBC's "Hairspray Live!" He also starred as the lead of the indie feature "King Cobra" opposite James Franco and Christian Slater, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival to incredible reviews. The film was an exciting and edgy turn for Clayton, who was previously known for his role in the Disney Teen Beach Movie franchise and his recurring role on FreeForm's "The Fosters". His film "Don't Hang Up" opposite Gregg Sulkin premiered at the LA Film Festival, and to add in "God Looked Away" opposite Al Pacino and Judith Light at the Pasadena Playhouse. Raised in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan, Clayton has performed in regional theater productions of "High School Musical 2", "Peter Pan", and "Beauty and the Beast", "IT (Musical Parody) as Pennywise, Stranger Things (Musical Parody) as Dustin/Steve.
